The Middletown High School Alumni Reunion website ("we," "us," "the site") is run by the MHS Alumni Reunion Committee. We built this site to reconnect Mustangs across every class year — and we take your privacy seriously.
WHAT WE COLLECT
When you register as an alumni, we collect:
- Your name (and maiden name, if you choose to share it)
- Your graduating class year
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- A favorite memory or quote (optional)
- A profile photo (optional)
- Communication preferences (email and/or SMS alerts)
When you use site features, we may also store:
- Wall signatures, song dedications, missed connections posts, and Mustang Tales you create
- Trivia scores and game activity
- Photos you submit to the Jukebox
WHO SEES YOUR INFORMATION
Public on the site:
- Your first name, last name, maiden name (if shared), class year, and any optional memory/quote you provided
- Your wall signatures, posts, and submissions (these are public by design)
Private — visible only to the Reunion Committee:
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your communication preferences
- Your full registration record
We will never:
- Sell your information to anyone
- Share your contact info with third-party advertisers
- Make your email or phone publicly visible on the site
- Post anything in your name without your consent
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To send you reunion updates, event details, ticket confirmations, and alerts (only if you opt in)
- To help fellow alumni reconnect through the Missed Connections feature (your email is never exposed — messages are routed through the Committee)
- To maintain the alumni directory and reunion planning
- To occasionally share reunion news, photos, and announcements
YOUR RIGHTS
You can at any time:
- Request to see your data
- Request corrections or updates
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Opt out of SMS or email alerts

DATA SECURITY
Your information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Base44) and protected with industry-standard security practices. Only authorized members of the Reunion Committee have access to private information.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
This site is intended for alumni 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us and we will remove the account.
COOKIES & ANALYTICS
We may use basic cookies to remember your radio station preference, mute state, and similar UI settings. We do not use advertising trackers or sell your browsing data.
ANALYTICS
We track basic site usage (number of visits, which pages are popular, device type) to understand how alumni are using the site. We do not track your identity, IP address, or browsing history beyond this site. Visit data uses an anonymous fingerprint generated from general browser characteristics (screen size, timezone, language) that cannot be tied back to you personally and is never shared with third parties.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we make significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we'll post a notice on the site and update the "Last updated" date above.
